Ezekiel 19:11-13

¹¹ And it had ^[a](A)strong thick branches fit for scepters of rulers,
And its ^(B)height was exalted above the clouds
So that it was seen in its exaltedness with the mass of its foliage.
¹² But it was ^(C)uprooted in wrath;
It was ^(D)cast down to the ground;
And the ^(E)east wind dried up its fruit.
Its ^[b](F)strong thick branch ^[c]was torn off
So that ^[d]it dried up;
The fire consumed it.
¹³ So now it is planted in the ^(G)wilderness,
In a dry and thirsty land.
